The Val des Terres Everest Walking Challenge is back for 2025 in aid of Les Bourgs Hospice.
It's been hugely successful for local causes since 2019, and following a break last year, the challenge has returned this year.
The challenge began on the 1st of January and finishes at the end of February.
The challenge circuit:
Climb Le Val des Terres, turn right at the summit to go down George Road, turn right opposite the Dorset Arms and proceed to the base at the bottom of Havelet. This is then repeated 115 times (in either direction) in the allocated 30 days.
The circuit/lap is 1 mile long and takes on average 15-20 minutes per lap.
