It's certainly going to be a happy new year for a person in Jersey today (3 January) who has claimed the jackpot prize in the 2024 Channel Islands Christmas Lottery.
The lucky winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, will take home £483,795.
Meanwhile the second prize of £50,000, which was sold in Guernsey, is yet to be claimed.
Island FM and Channel 103 were on hand to announce the winning numbers in a special show on 19 December 2024.
