Channel Islands Leaders Send Well-Wishes To Manx CM

The Crown Dependencies' politicians have shown their support for the Isle of Man's Chief Minister after he went into self-isolation.

It was revealed yesterday that Howard Quayle has developed 'mild' coronavirus symptoms and had been continuing to run the island's government from home.

He's the first of the Crown Dependencies' leaders to show signs of contracting the virus.

Guernsey's top politician, President of Policy and Resources, Gavin St Pier said he wishes Howard "all the very best for a speedy recovery."

Jersey's External Relations Minister, Senator Ian Gorst, says the Manx leader is in his thoughts and prayers:

This morning Senator John Le Fondré, Jersey's Chief Minister, also passed on his best wishes - urging him to get well soon.
