The Youth Commission is decking out a bus with games and technology to educate and entertain Guernsey children.
'The Bus Stop' will debut in St Peter Port on Liberation Day this May.
The bus, previously one of the local fleet, will drive from spot to spot across the island to provide young people with entertainment, education and social interaction they may have been missing out on.
The Youth Commission's Project Lead Michelle Turberville says not every young person can get to The Hub St Peter Port or La Moye Church Hall in the Vale, so they needed a creative solution.
"We were looking at spaces that we could deliver extra sessions and when you look at the cost of buildings and rents for a charity it’s a lot of money.
"So we were like how can we do this and pop up in more places, and the bus just seemed to be the obvious answer."
Michelle says the youth of Guernsey don't have enough facilities, especially for them.
"We have seen up to 44 children at our youth clubs.
"The one in the Bordage is an office space with a pool table in it and tables and chairs from charity shops. They deserve more, something brand-new.
"This bus gives us the opportunity to give back to the teenagers on the island."
The Commission has set up an Amazon wish list full of board games and outdoor activities. They hope the Guernsey community will support their initiative.
Local organisations have already donated to deck out the bus - Guernsey Together has donated a jukebox, JT Community Giving has supplied some DJ equipment and Resolution IT has given them a VR headset.
