Residents may have spotted a poppy bus in the island today, that was designed for the 106th Armistice Anniversary.
The artist behind part of the bus was 13 year old Evie Langlois from La Mare de Carteret School.
She took home first place in a competition, which was searching for the best poppy art in the island to be displayed on a Guernsey bus.
Her design features two painted poppies surrounding by grey leaves.
As well as having her artwork on the special poppy bus, budding painter Evie won £50 worth of vouchers.
It was stiff competition for the top prize, with 15-year old Isaiah Grant taking second place for his design.
Sophie McCreight, aged 14, took third place and Lucas Robbins got a special mention in the contest for his poppy and stems portrait.
All four artists were given an 'Explore Guernsey by Bus' mug and a family pass for their efforts.
La Mare de Carteret School was also given £100 worth of art vouchers.
The bus was on stand for Remembrance Sunday and could be spotting by islanders travelling to the school by midday 11 November 2024.
