The Bailiwick’s first Labyrinth will be within the grounds of Les Cotils.
These are circular paths which wind to and from a central point.
They date back to the time of the pyramids and are said to be good for relieving stress.
Tony Talmage from the Guernsey Society for Dowsers is behind the project.
"Since the pandemic the therapeutic benefits of walking the labyrinth has been rediscovered. They are labyrinths now all over the world - in places like schools, hospital, prisons. The world is discovering the benefits of walking the labyrinth and I won't to being those benefits to Guernsey."
They are said to bring a sense of peace and serenity.
Funding for the project still needs to be put in place but an outdoor area in the south-eastern part of the grounds of Les Cotils has been chosen.
