A Guernsey man is raising money for local charities by participating in the island's half-marathon this Sunday (15 September).
David Rowlinson completed the London Marathon in a wheelchair pushed by his daughter Jenny and her boyfriend Jonny in April 2024.
The trio managed to raise £15,000 for Myositis UK, a charity close to David's heart, as he has the incurable autoimmune disease.

But David says he is not done fundraising, and is ready for the Guernsey Half.
This time, the trio hope to raise £2,000 to support Guernsey Neuro Concern and Paws For Support.
They'll join hundreds on the 13.1 miles from L’Eree to St Peter Port on 15 September.
David says this run will be extra special on home turf.
"A lot of my friends know we're doing it, and hopefully lots of them will be out to support us.
"It'll get good support, and we'll see lots of people we know as we go around, which will be great."

David says he will also be donating his special wheelchair to a local cause after the half-marathon:
"I think it's going to Guernsey Athletics. Hopefully they can encourage people to use the chair in future.
"It's for anybody who may want to do another marathon, but it can also be used for simply getting out and about."
