A new exhibition in the Royal Square is celebrating 500 years since States Assembly records began.
The pop-up, colourful boards take you on a tour through Jersey's history, from 3 October 1524 - when the first Minutes of the States were taken.
They walk the public through key events in the last 500 years, including the Corn Riots and the Occupation.
Notable Jersey landmarks and their historical functions are also covered in the educational boards, such as Elizabeth Castle and Corbière lighthouse.
The boards give you an insight into the minutes taken over the past 500 years, which the public can take a more detailed look at in the Jersey Archive.
More modern minutes can be accessed on the States Assembly website.
Lisa Hart, Greffier of the States said:
"Thanks to the safe storage of these historic records, islanders are able to see how the decisions of the Assembly over the centuries have contributed to creating the Jersey we see today.
"Our exhibition showcases how iconic Jersey landmarks like Elizabeth Castle and Corbière lighthouse owe their existence to centuries-old States decisions.
"It also highlights the origins of much-loved aspects of Island life, such as the pure breed Jersey cow and the Jersey one pound note."
The exhibition will be up from 1 - 14 October.
