Commercial Buildings and Mount Bingham have reopened, but Pier Road Car Park remains closed.
The authorities are asking islanders to expect 'significant delays' in St Helier as roads remain closed near the site of Saturday's explosion on Pier Road which killed at least five people.
Commercial Buildings and Mount Bingham are open to vehicles and pedestrians. They had been sealed off as debris from the blast was strewn across a wide area.
Fort Regent, La Petit Ecole Nursery and Pier Road Car Park remain closed today (Monday 12 December)
"Islanders are asked to carefully consider their travel arrangements. There will be significant travel disruption in the area and much reduced parking capacity throughout St Helier." - Government of Jersey.
Please give some thought this morning to your travel plans: are you able to catch the bus, bicycle, walk or WFM? Pier Rd car park will be closed so there will be pressure on parking. Thank you! https://t.co/D8UYtQvjRD

An island-wide one minute silence will be observed at 11am, and flags are flying at half mast.
