Jersey hosted one of the best rugby teams in the world whilst they train for upcoming matches in the UK.

The Springboks are in the island, training at Coinshares Park and exploring what Jersey has to offer.

Islanders have been keen to catch a glimpse of the South African national team in action, and their training match has sold out.

More than 2,600 people attended on Saturday.

All the money raised by ticket sales is going to Jersey RFC and the Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled.

The 2023 World Cup winners are in Jersey because of the island's world-class facilities.

Grant Williams, Scrumhalf

Scrumhalf, Grant Williams told Channel 103 a little more about what the Springboks got up to in their time off.

"We went for a cold dip, on our off day we went to go and explore, we went to a sauna as well.

"Just amazing facilities and just welcoming people, really enjoying it."

Thomas du Toit, Springboks Prop, says he loves Jersey.

"This place is unbelievable, it's very refreshing to be here and to see all the people. They're very accommodating.

"Everyone greets you in the streets, its brilliant facilities as well.
